Amie Tannenbaum
AMIE G. TANNENBAUM is a Fine Art film photographer who exhibits in the Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C area. Her images reflect a preference for in-camera mastery using Velvia color slide film. Since 2001, her work has garnered considerable recognition and many top awards in local shows and exhibits around the tri-state region. In 2005, Amie had her first one-person show in Bethesda, MD. She has been invited to exhibit her work at the Center for the Arts in Manassas, VA, and the Washington Technology Park, Chantilly, Virgina. More recently, Amie had her images accepted into the 2008 Wilmington (DE) 75th International Exhibition of Photography, the 29th Northern Counties (U.K.) International Salon of Photography, and the Fifth Annual Ocean State International Exhibition of Photography. She has been a guest lecturer on Abstract Photography at Georgetown University, and several of her images can be found in permanent / private collections, including at Hood College, in Frederick, MD.
