Jerry Whitus

Jerry Whitus’s stories have been published in Manoa: A Pacific Journal of International Writing (a “distinguished story” in Best American Short Stories); The Literary Review; Nimrod, Potomac Review and Potomac Review online; the online journal Slushpile; also soon to be published in Chicago Quarterly Review and Jabberwock Review. He studied fiction writing in the graduate program at the University of Texas and for a number of years made a living as a freelance writer specializing in film and TV for education, industry and entertainment, with a large number of national awards. He has also been an administrator, teacher and teacher-trainer in universities in the USA, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam (on a USAID grant), and Colombia.
