Solstice Lit Mag is published three times a year and is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to promote diversity of all types in literature and photography.
Lyndsey Ellis is a St. Louis native who currently lives in Oakland. She’s a VONA/Voices Alumna and was a writer-in-residence at Vermont Studio Center. Ellis was a 2016 recipient of the San Francisco Foundation’s Joseph Henry Jackson Award. Her writing appears, or is forthcoming, in Eleven Eleven, The Offing, The Stockholm Review of Literature, Nomadic Journal, Black Fox Literary Magazine, Monday Night, and Golden State 2017: Best New Fiction & Nonfiction from California. Ellis works at a mental health advocacy group where her blog series, "Stickler Against Stigma", highlights the value of judgment-free, inclusive communities for those with mental and behavioral health challenges, their loved ones, and their supporters.
