Mardith Louisell’s fiction, essays and memoir can be found recently in Persimmon Tree, Crossborder Journal, Smokelong Quarterly, and Sleet. She thinks “Had They Learned about Jayne Mansfield?” (Solstice Literary Magazine), is her best title. She grew up on Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota, and takes pictures of people's ears, which can be found at Mardithlouisell.com. The rest of the time, she writes and edits, lives and works in San Francisco. Beside Myself, a book of flash fiction, is her current project.
