MARGARET ELYSIA GARCIA writes poetry, memoir, and fiction and lives up in the far north corner of California where there's lots of snow and very few chain stores. Her short story manuscript, the 605 Freeway Stories won second prize in the 2008 Chicano/Latino Literary Award given by University of California, Irvine.
