M. G. Stephens
M. G. STEPHENS is the author of eighteen books, including the novels Season at Coole and The Brooklyn Book of the Dead ("a great, great book," says Roddy Doyle), as well as the essay collection Green Dreams, which Joyce Carol Oates picked as a notable American nonfiction book of the 20th century in Best American Essays of the Century. He was educated at the City College of New York and Yale University, and he holds a doctorate in literature from the University of Essex (UK).
