Michael Catherwood
Michael Catherwood’s poems have appeared in Agni, Borderlands, Burning Bush 2, The Common, Louisiana Literature, Midwest Quarterly, New Plains Review, Poetry South, Sycamore Review, Red River Review, Valparaiso Poetry Review, and others. His awards include a Nebraska Arts Council Grant, Pushcart Nomination, Intro Journals Award for Poetry from AWP, The Holt Prize for Poetry, and Finalist for the Ruth Lily Prize. His first book was Dare from The Backwaters Press. He teaches at Creighton University and is an associate editor at Plainsongs where he writes essays.
