Michael Steinberg

Michael Steinberg has written and edited five books, and his essays and memoirs have won several awards and have appeared in many journals and anthologies. In 2003, Foreword Magazine chose his memoir, Still Pitching as the Independent Press Memoir of the Year. He's also founding editor of Fourth Genre: Explorations in Nonfiction, and co-editor of The Fourth Genre: Contemporary Writers of/on Creative Nonfiction, now in its fifth edition. Currently, he is writer-in-residence at the Solstice/Pine Manor low-residency MFA program.
