Wilson Hunt, Jr

Wilson Hunt, Jr was born in Boston, MA and began his work in fine arts and visual studies while an undergraduate at Harvard College, where he received a B.A. in psychology. Although he entered a doctoral program in developmental psychology at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, he left to continue studies in drawing, watercolor and painting at the Boston Museum School. He supported his artistic career with work in human services. Later, for twenty-five years, he was a career counselor and Assistant Director at the Office of Career Services in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University. He developed an interest in photography and made photographs utilizing his eye as a painter to determine subject matter as well as to compose within the frame.
