Catherine Mauk

Catherine Mauk is a US expat, originally from Idaho, who has lived in Australia for 26 years with her Australian husband. She is a writer of memoir, place and the philosophical issues that challenge her. Her essays have been published in both the US and Australia, where she has also been selected as a finalist and winner in multiple literary nonfiction competitions. She is currently revising a completed memoir about migration and is working on a manuscript entitled, “Writing My Mother’s Obituary” as well as a collection of essays that deal with ethical, cultural, and emotional aspects of human relationship with place.
