Michael C. Thorpe

Michael C. Thorpe (b.1993) is a visual artist living and working out of New York, New York, with a primary focus in textiles. Thorpe is exploring the limitations of both social constructs and textiles by combining fabrics and imagery to evoke alternative perspectives on the human experience. Thorpe’s quilts were recently on view in a solo exhibition, “An Art Show,” at All Too Human in Boston, and he has been profiled in the Boston Globe, WBUR’s Artery and CBC’s Q.
