Taline Voskeritchian
Taline Voskeritchian’s work has appeared in Agni Review, BookForum, Journal of Palestine Studies, London Review of Books, MERIP/Middle East Report, The Nation, Words Without Borders, Warwick Review (UK); the radio programs “On Being” and “BBC Ireland;” and the on-line journals Jadaliyya, HowlRound, The Banglaore Review, Transnational Review and The Common, among others. She is co-producer of Vahé Oshagan: Between Acts, an experimental film on the pre-eminent poet of modern Western Armenian literature, for which she translated large sections of Oshagan’s poetry into English. Born in Mandatory Palestine, educated in Jordan, Lebanon, and the US, Voskeritchian teaches writing and literature at Boston University and at the American University of Armenia, Yerevan. In April 2011, and as part of the international delegation of writers to Palestine Festival of Literature, she conducted writing/translation workshops in local universities.
