thandiwe D. Watts-Jones is a creative non-fiction writer, clinical psychologist, family therapist, mother and elated grandmother. Her writing reflects her passion for healing and liberation from the violence of an oppressive past and present.  Her essays have been published in the New York Times, the anthology Dismantled and What’s Love Got to Do With It?   She completed a MFA at Stonecoast, University of Southern Maine in 2015, and is currently working on a memoir.
