Solstice contributing editor Marjan Kamali was awarded a 2022 NEA Creative Writing Fellowship in Prose. She is the author of The Stationery Shop, a national bestseller, and Together Tea, a Massachusetts Book Award finalist. The Stationery Shop is being adapted into a TV series at HBO and Together Tea was adapted for the stage. Marjan’s novels are published in translation in more than 20 languages and The Stationery Shop was awarded the Prix Attitude in France. 

Marjan was a guest fiction editor for the Spring 2019 Issue of Solstice. She also spoke to Solstice about her debut novel, Together Tea.
