Aaron Sosa

Aaron Sosa

Born and raised in the US and Mexican border. Influenced by both Mexican and American ideals my writing reflects the fluidity of language, aspirations and culture in this region. At 10 years of age I left Mexico along with my family to live 30 minutes away from our old house and settled in Mission, Tx. I graduated from UTRGV with a BA in Philosophy and a minor in Anthropology. Currently I am studying an MA in Literature, and am planning to get my Texas Teacher certification shortly after graduating. My goals align themselves with creating a more peaceful and prosperous community.
