Alysia Nicole Harris

Alysia Nicole Harris received her MFA in poetry from NYU and is currently a PhD candidate in linguistics at Yale University. Pushcart nominee, winner of the 2014 Stephen Dunn Poetry Prize, and finalist for the 2015 Pocataglio Prize and 2014 Joy Harjo Prize her poetry has been published in Indiana Review, Catch & Release, Solstice Literary Magazine, Vinyl Magazine an The Break Beat Poets Anthology. Alysia is also a spoken word artist and has performed nationally as well as in Canada, Germany, South Africa, the UK and at the UN. She currently lives in New Haven, CT.
