Bronwyn Jones

Communications Faculty Emerita of Northwestern Michigan College, Bronwyn Jones has also worked as a classical harpist, union organizer, and collective bargaining negotiator. Most recently, she has associate produced short films and documentaries focused on the impacts and mitigation of climate change on northern Michigan ecosystems for “Nature Change”, an on-line multi-media magazine, and PBS (Michigan). A co-founder of Michigan Writers, a non-profit dedicated to the support and publication of writers in the Great Lakes state, her essays, reviews and poetry have appeared in Traverse Magazine, Glen Arbor Sun, Newsweek (My Turn), Dunes Review, Foreword Magazine, Traverse City Record Eagle, and others. Currently at work on a book length memoir about her late father, a New York abstract expressionist painter, she writes from Maple City, Michigan.
