Chandreyee Lahiri

Born in Kolkata, India, Chandreyee is a resident of Waltham, Massachusetts with a long career in environmental management as a GIS Specialist. Some of her fiction has won awards including Boston’s ‘One City One Story’, Boston in 100 words and Antonym Magazine’s Tagore Translation contest. As a storyteller (in the tradition of The Moth), she has featured in story slams, on podcasts and in shows including national programs like Stories from the Stage and Suitcase Stories. She runs the community building storytelling show ‘We are Waltham’ and co-produces ‘Voices’, themed on South Asian immigrant experiences. She often runs flash fiction workshops, produces smaller story telling shows and teaches (fiction and story telling) through Lexington Community Education.
