DeWitt Henry

DEWITT HENRY is a Professor at Emerson College and the founding editor of Ploughshares (for which he won a Commonwealth Award in 1992).  He has authored THE MARRIAGE OF ANNA MAYE POTTS (winner of the Peter Taylor Prize for the Novel) and two memoirs, SAFE SUICIDE: NARRATIVES, ESSAYS, AND MEDITATIONS and SWEET DREAMS: A FAMILY HISTORY; he has also edited five anthologies, including SORROW’S COMPANY: WRITERS ON LOSS AND GRIEF.  For details see .
