Elisa Ardis Garcia writes Fiction and Creative Nonfiction and was awarded Bellevue Literary Review’s 2026 Felice Buckvar Honorable Mention prize for Nonfiction. Previous workshops and residencies include Anaphora Arts, the Lambda Literary Foundation’s Emerging Writer’s Retreat, Macondo Writers, Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing, and Boldface. A queer native Tejana, Ardis is based out of the New York City area.
