Jonathan Segol

Jonathan Segol has published fiction and nonfiction in The New Guard, New Millennium Writings, Novel Slices, and other journals.  A chapter from the same novel (Vocational Degrees) from which this excerpt is taken was nominated for the Pushcart Prize this year.  For over twenty years he has taught writing in diverse settings: Brooklyn’s high school for automechanics, upstate vocational centers, and suspension rooms – each of which provided knowledge for this novel over the years – and currently at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY.
