Leslie Lawrence

LESLIE LAWRENCE, a recipient of fellowships from the Massachusetts Artists Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, has published in all genres in a variety of venues including Prairie Schooner, Fourth Genre, Witness, The Forward, and The Boston Globe Magazine. Lawrence currently teaches tutorials and writing workshops in her home in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She’s also an avid traveler and improvisational dancer. “At the Donkey Hotel” is among her essays collected in The Death of Fred Astaire, currently under consideration.
