Lisa Grace Hennessy was born and raised along the Jersey Shore. She received her MFA from The New School and a BFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College. She has worked in the costume department for numerous films and photo shoots and is currently writing a book of essays about the filmmaking industry. She lives in New York City.
