Liza Ketchum

LIZA KETCHUM is the author of sixteen books of fiction and nonfiction, including her new YA novel, Out of Left Field (Untreed Reads). A previous novel, Where the Great Hawk Flies, was awarded the Massachusetts Book Award for Children’s Literature in 2006. Her historical novel Newsgirl was an ALA/GLBTQ Rainbow Book and was included in many state and library recommended lists. Liza teaches in the MFA program in Writing for Children and Young Adults at Hamline University. She divides her time between Watertown, Massachusetts, and Dorset, Vermont.
