Mary Dingee Fillmore is a Vermont writer and activist who writes about democracy and justice for Common Dreams and elsewhere. Her award-winning historical novel, An Address in Amsterdam, is the story of a young Jewish woman who joins the anti-Nazi resistance, and sadly is more relevant than ever. It is a Kirkus Indie Book of the Month and won the Sarton Women’s Book Award for Historical Fiction.
