Philip Memmer

Philip Memmer is the author of five books of poems, most recently “Pantheon” (Lost Horse Press 2019) and “The Storehouses of the Snow: Psalms, Parables, and Dreams” (Lost Horse Press, 2012). Memmer’s poems have appeared in such journals as Poetry, Poetry Northwest, Epoch and Poetry London, in many anthologies, in Billy Collins’ “Poetry 180” project, and in Ted Kooser’s “American Life in Poetry” column. He lives in upstate New York, where he founded and directs the YMCA’s Downtown Writers Center in Syracuse. He also serves as Associate Editor of Tiger Bark Press.
