Richard Michelson’s books have been among the Ten Best of the Year by The New York Times, Publishers Weekly, and The New Yorker. He received a 2016 Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowship, the 2017 National Jewish Book Award, and the 2019 Samuel Minot Jones Award for Literary Achievement.
Michelson’s recent collection More Money than God (Pitt Poetry Series) was finalist for the Paterson Prize. Michelson served as Poet Laureate of Northampton MA.
