Roberta Hartling Gates

Roberta Hartling Gates has been published in literary magazines such as Confrontation, Fourth Genre, The Louisville Review, and Other Voices, as well as in two anthologies, Gifts from Our Grandmothers (Crown, 2000) and Flash 101: Surviving the Fiction Apocalypse (FF Press, 2012). She has an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and is a reader for The Examined Life Journal. She lives in Riverside, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.
