Ben Schachter is an illustrator and professor. His work follows in the footsteps of so many who transform ancient wisdom and fables into contemporary stories. His first comic, Akhnai Pizza, a cautionary tale against friendship turned sour, places an ancient story in contemporary Pittsburgh. He received his MFA from Pratt Institute and has shown his work throughout the United States. He lives in Pittsburgh with his family.
