RUTH BALLARD is a high school student from Littleton, Massachusetts. She has been published in the 2010 edition of the Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans, won first place in the Massachusetts Science Poetry Competition, and was a finalist in the 2013 Boston Louder Than A Bomb youth poetry slam. She continues to write and perform spoken word.
