Val Wang

Val Wang is the author of the memoir Beijing Bastard. She also directed the documentary short The Flip Side and the interactive, multiplatform documentary Planet Takeout. Her writing has appeared in Elle, The Common, and The Toast. An Associate Professor in the English and Media Studies Department of Bentley University, she lives in Cambridge with her family.
