Dennis Madamba

Dennis Lapid Madamba is a Filipino American illustrator, educator, and zinester based in Queens, NY. His illustration practice is community centered, telling stories about immigration, folklore, social issues and more. He’s an amateur RISO printer, running a trusty GR3750 and co-publishes the comics anthology Campfire: Comics x Stories.

Dennis originally hails from the Bay Area. He received a BA in Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an MFA from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. His work has been recognized by American Illustration, The Society of Illustrators LA, and ICON: The Illustration Conference.
