Amy Grier is a writer and editor with an MFA from Lesley University. A singer and classically trained pianist with a degree in Music Education, she has travelled extensively and taught music and English in the U.S. and Japan. Amy earned a masters in East Asian Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, concentrating in Japanese language and history, and a masters in Literature and Writing from Rivier University. Her prose and poetry has appeared in Poetry East, eratio postmodern poetry, Streetlight Magazine, xoJane, and Dream International Quarterly. Her current project, Quiet One, is a memoir about growing up with a mentally ill mother. She lives in Maryland with her dog, Tiberius.
