David Kann

David Kann

David Kann is emeritus professor of English at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He returned to poetry and teaching after a walkabout in the outback of academic administration.  He credits his attendance at the last one-week Solstice Summer Poetry Workshop with jump-starting his writing.  Since then, his poetry has been published in such journals as Lunch Ticket, Forge, and Fourth River.  His chapbook, “The Language of the Farm,” was published by Five Oaks Press.  Three subsequent chapbooks: At Fernald School, Blues for Pip and Notes on the Creation have been published by Finishing Line Press.
