Gail Hosking

Gail Hosking grew up as an army brat and has traveled extensively. Her memoir Snake’s Daughter: The Roads in and out of War was published by the University of Iowa Press. She is also the author of the poetry chapbook The Tug (Finishing Line Press). Her essays and poetry have appeared in literary journals and been anthologized. Two recent essays were considered “most notable” in Best American Essays of 2014 and 2015. She holds an MFA from Bennington College and taught at Rochester Institute of Technology for years.
