S.K. Brownell

S.K. Brownell is an interdisciplinary writer, artist and educator holding an MFA in Playwriting from Boston University. Stephanie was a 2018 Sewanee Writers’ Conference Tennessee Williams Scholar and winner of the National Partners of the American Theatre Playwriting Excellence Award. Stephanie’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in Great Lakes Review, Crab Fat Magazine, Punt Volat, Decoded: Pride Anthology, and elsewhere, and has been developed, produced and commissioned by Boston Playwrights Theatre, Company One, Fresh Ink, and more. Stephanie teaches writing at Carroll University and GrubStreet, creates socially-engaged performances with Artists Theater of Boston, and consults on manuscript development and book marketing.
