Shamae Budd

Shamae Budd received her MFA in creative nonfiction from Brigham Young University in 2018 and now teaches creative writing classes there. Her essays have appeared in Under the Gum Tree, Hippocampus Magazine, Exponent II and elsewhere; she has only recently begun exploring the short fiction genre. She lives in Utah at the foot of the Rocky Mountains with her husband, their loquacious toddler, and a big red poodle.
