Zareen Choudhury

Zareen Choudhury is a Bangladeshi American cartoonist and writer based in San Francisco. Her work uses humor and honesty to explore personal topics like chronic illness and intersectional identities. Her comics and writing have been published in The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, and The Nib, and showcased at the Cartoon Art Museum and Charles M. Schulz Museum. Zareen has been recognized as a Creative in Residence at The Ruby, a Showcase Artist at Kearny Street Workshop, and a member of the National Cartoonists Society. She recently graduated from the Sequential Artists Workshop’s Comics Certificate Intensive and is currently leading the Chronic Illness Comics Club through Crucial Comix.
