Ryan Hunter was born and raised in the shadow of the nation’s capital, and spent much of his childhood reading classic American comics, namely Calvin and Hobbes. After studying English at Morehouse College, he taught ESL in Seoul, Korea, for two years and developed a love of travel and a passion for writing. In 2023, he took these experiences and successfully Kickstarted his first book, a graphic novel memoir containing multiple short stories by various artists around the world. He currently works as a digital nomad writer/editor and pet sitter while traveling the country with his Puerto Rican wife, and continues to publish small short form comics online through his personal website
